Beer lovers, get ready to dig in! Now is the best time to pimp your garden with a HopfenHöhle!
🍻
Installing your HopfenHöhle is easier than you think – and actually fun if you enjoy a little outdoor activity.
You already have one of the key elements: your HopfenHöhle.
The second? A patch of garden. All that’s left is to dig a hole about 95 cm deep and 20 cm wide.
Whether you go classic with a shovel or smart with a soil auger, the choice is yours. Using an auger makes the work faster, cleaner, and much easier on your back.
👉 Tip: You can rent a suitable soil auger cheaply at well-stocked hardware stores or garden centres.
In just a few steps, you’ll have your underground beer cooler ready – perfect for garden parties, BBQs, or a relaxed evening outdoors. 🌱🍺
The HopfenHöhle is delivered fully assembled, so all you have to do is place the sturdy casing tube in the hole in the ground. The ground hole beer cooler is a self-contained system. This means that the interior is protected against water ingress and vermin. In addition, the HopfenHöhle has a buoyancy control device that prevents the beverage cooler from being pushed upwards when the groundwater rises.
Once the casing pipe has been inserted into the hole, you need to fill the cavity around the pipe with soil again. Keep pouring water onto the soil to slurry it and achieve a firmer connection between the earth cooler and the ground.
Another cool advantage of the HopfenHöhle is that you don't need to lay any power or water lines to operate the earth refrigerator.
