The HopfenHöhle cools completely naturally using the temperature of the surrounding ground - with no electricity and no additional cooling element.
On average, the temperature inside is around 8 – 10 °C.
So it is not ice-cold like a refrigerator, but pleasantly cool – perfect for beer and other drinks.
The exact temperature can vary depending on the location, soil conditions and time of year.
Our tip: A shady spot provides the best cooling performance. On very hot and dry days, it can also help to water the lawn or soil around the HopfenHöhle.
